Port Denarau Marina on Denarau Island near Nadi in Fiji provides jetty facilities for inter-island ferries, catamarans, small ship cruise vessels, as well as small and large sailing yachts. Picture here is the private jetty for yacht owners. In the background across Nadi Bay can be seen the Sleeping Giant Mountains. Port Denarau Marina also has supporting services and supplies for yachts, including fuel, water, showers, laundry, a 50 ton travel hoist, sailmaker workshop, engineering and engine repairs, restaurants, accommodation (for those feeling the need for some terra firma!), and mini-market. Down the road toward Nadi (at the other end of Denarau Road) is a great local shop for fresh meat supplies known as the South Pacific Butchering Company. Very popular with local expatriate residents for its fresh, good quality meat.
