This has to be one of the largest, if not 'the' largest,lagoon style pools in the South Pacific! It provides plenty of room to find a spot at which to relax in the tropical paradise at Denarau Island, near Nadi in Fiji.
Comprising 1080 square meters of water surface, it winds along the beach frontage of the Sofitel Fiji Beach Resort & Spa between the resort and the South Pacific ocean.
Catering for all preferences, the pool has plenty of spots for couples to bathe and enjoy the water, as well as a separate 'child friendly' section for younger children or those less confident in the water. There is also a two-storey spiral water slide for the younger guests.
Another part of the pool is deeper in design and used from time to time for in-pool diving courses conducted specifically for in-house guests by Adrenalin Fiji, a company specialising in diving and watersports.
When you have finished your dip, relax at the pool side to enjoy the tropical sun, or to read your favourite book, or to enjoy a cool tropical beverage and admire the beautiful pool and ocean views.
