Nadi Fiji Photo Gallery and Travel Guide Nadi is the third largest town in Fiji Islands, behind the City of Suva (capital of Fiji Islands) and Lautoka City. Although Nadi (pronounced Nan-dee) is the largest urban centre, it could easily be called the 'tourist capital' as it sees the greatest number of travellers as they enter and exit the Fiji Islands by way of the Nadi International Airport. It is also a destination in its own right, as there are many hotels, resorts and backpacker lodgings.
For many thousands of travellers each year, however, it acts as the gateway to many beautiful destinations in other parts of the main island or on Fiji's outer islands.
