An unusually overcast morning in Nadi provides a cool opportunity to ride horses along the Nadi Bay beach near Club Fiji Resort.
When the tide is low, the beach is wide, flat and firm for walking or horse riding, and the majestic highlands that encircle the town provide wonderful scenery. The section of the highlands in the image are known as the Sleeping Giant mountains.
The white control tower of Nadi International Airport can be seen through the trees on the right of the image. On the left is the location of the Nadi Golf Course. Along the shoreline in the distance are a number of budget resorts on a section that is known as Wailoaloa Beach.
