Narrow Queens Road is the main street that passes through Nadi Town before reaching the Queens Highway that goes down to Suva. This narrow, busy street is always bustling with cars and local shoppers. International tourists who are staying in Nadi or are who are in Nadi for the day before going out to other Fiji destinations often visit Nadi Town to look at the souvenir shops, or to visit the Nadi Town market located just off the main road.
Newer modern department stores have brightened up the previously run-down appearance of many of the older shops.
